The CISSP certification is the gold standard for IT security certifications, with over 120,000 open CISSP jobs in the US, and an average CISSP salary in the US of over $125,000.
The exam covers 8 domains; in this course, we will be covering Domain 5, with respect to the May 2021 exam update.
This course focuses on how we identify our assets, the platforms we use for them, how we provide authorized access and prevent unauthorized access to the assets, and the asset and identity lifecycle.
In Domain 5, we will cover physical and logical assets control, identification, and authentication of people and devices; identity as a service (for example, cloud identities); third-party identity services (for example, on-premises); access control attacks; and identity and access provisioning lifecycle (for example, provisioning review). Note that Domain 5 makes up 13% of the exam questions. The course also includes 30 practice questions to test our learning from the course.
By the end of this course, you will be prepared for Domain 5 of the CISSP exam.
