In this course, the learner will examine the details of the Label Distribution Protocol (LDP). Topics covered include the basics of LDP, configuration tasks, a deep dive look at LDP messages, authentication, transport address configuration, session protection, and the semantics of LDP-IGP synchronization. All course simulations are done using Cisco’s Virtual Internet Routing Lab (VIRL) software and all configurations are available in both text files and the original VIRL .virl format.
