In this intermediate Cisco Service Provider training, Jeremy Cioara prepares learners to take the 640-875 SPNGN1 and 640-878 SPNGN2 exams, which are the two exams required to earn the CCNA Service Provider certification.
Service providers maintain huge, complex networks, but they’re still just networks. The same principles apply to them as any network, you’ll just need a few advanced networking tricks up your sleeve to maintain and troubleshoot these networks at scale.
You begin the course by understanding network fundamentals, discussing topics such as the OSI Model, switch and router functionality, and cabling standards. From there, you move quickly into understanding the differences between IOS and IOS-XR (Cisco’s service provider-specific OS), the configuration of routing protocols in both IPv4 and IPv6, network services, and device management.
By completing this 640-875 SPNGN1 and 640-878 SPNGN2 training and earning the CCNA Service Provider, network administrators will prove they’re ready to get more senior roles at larger networks.
For anyone who manages IT training, this Service Provider training can be used for CCNA Service Provider exam prep, on-boarding new network administrators, or as part of a team training plan.
