Machines tells a story of the human cost of mass production in a globalised world, showing the gulf between rich and poor from both perspectives.
A kind of Indian version of Slow TV where men and children operate dangerous machines which can cause death or serious injury at any moment. Donald Trump would call it a f**king shit-hole. Health and Safety, what’s that ?.
No commentary or narration although some of the guys in the factory speak occasionally with English embedded subtitles.
