From Wikipedia: Ansible is an open-source software provisioning, configuration management, and application-deployment tool. It runs on many Unix-like systems, and can configure both Unix-like systems as well as Microsoft Windows. It includes its own declarative language to describe system configuration. Learn the history of Ansible and how Ansible assists with configuration management.
Installing Ansible. Install Ansible during this second topic in the Ansible Complete Guide. Set up the entire environment including Python. Learn how the Ansible engine uses an SSH connection to connect and work with managed nodes.
Ansible Functionality. Practice Ansible functionality during this third topic in the Ansible Complete Guide.
Ansible YAML. Become proficient working with Ansible YAML during this fourth topic in the Ansible Complete Guide. From Wikipedia: YAML is a human-readable data-serialization language. It is commonly used for configuration files and in applications where data is being stored or transmitted. YAML targets many of the same communications applications as Extensible Markup Language but has a minimal syntax which intentionally differs from SGML. Practice writing playbooks using YAML.
Ansible Ad-Hoc Commands. Work with Ansible ad-hoc commands and Ansible.cfg during this fifth topic in the Ansible Complete Guide. Become proficient with ad-hoc symtax and work with modules, and Ansible-doc. Understand ping, shell, and parallelism, and become more proficient with managing nodes.
